INVENTORY CONTROL Batch or RF (Radio Frequency) barcode tracking system accounts for all on hand inventory and its location. Additional information such as lots and expiration dates can also be tracked. Handheld module is available for portability and flexibility. This is best suited for companies where inventory levels do not change drastically over a period of time.
STOCKROOM The Stockroom Module tracks consumable inventory supplies using barcode technology by allowing users to track items such as office supplies (pens, paper, toner) and healthcare supplies that are used up. Consumable inventory is received and increases inventory levels and then issued to departments, which reduces inventory levels. This system is suited for companies that have a simple inventory tracking system. FIXED ASSETS This module is used to track capital equipment and depreciate it. Each asset, such as a computer, is tagged with a barcode label (usually a metal or plastic tag) that has a serialized barcode label printed on it. The individual assets have costs, purchase dates, and classes. This module is perfect for college dorms to track dormitory furniture, government agencies and other agencies with multiple locations. This system is used by Reuters News Agency and the Smithsonian Institute. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT This system incorporates the above Inventory, Stockroom, and Fixed Assets Modules as well as adding the Check In/Check Out feature. This is suitable for any type of tool or rental company. It is also appropriate for checking out audio-visual equipment or for issuing various pieces of company equipment such as PDA's, pagers, or laptop computers. This system is very popular with police, fire, and emergency departments. It is also suitable for tool management for maintenance departments, and replacement parts. Another use for this system is to track documents and charts. This is useful for insurance and loan companies, healthcare facilities, radiology departments, government agencies, etc., or any agency that needs to track documents, folders, and charts. WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (WMS) The Warehouse Management System is the most robust of all of the above systems and suitable for all small to mid-sized warehouses that currently do not have a warehouse management system.
